Thank You For Adopting Angels!

I LOVE the holidays, absolutely LOVE them.  With al the things going on in the world, and business being slow I've had a hard time finding my Holiday "SPIRIT".  I was sitting in my store the other day and I glanced over at my window to see...Calico Frog - Fully Rely On God.  I started to think about how things are rough for us now as business hasn't really been doing much of anything.  We aren't getting each other anything for Christmas, or anyone really since things are lean.

That thought made me sad because what's Christmas without presents...at this point in our life presents are luxeries rather than needs.  When it comes down to needs we have a home, nurishment, heat, running water, and each other to lean on.  There are lots of little things we make part of our daily routine that is just a waste of money, especially when there are so many families without the basics this Holiday Season.

I have started this blog in an effort to help somone else other than myself or immediate family.  I am asking that all of you partiticapte or pick up a project of your own.  I am going to post some basic information about a young girl and teen boy today.  Then you have the opportunity to donate to the paypal account towards purchase of items or can send items this way.  I will do daily updates of progress and what has been purchased.  I will even post pictures of the items.  If you are sending and item please let me know so we don't get multiples.

The second part to this project is to adopt a family for Christmas.  I have a christmas tree and some left over decorations, but we will need more.  I will also offer to do a family portrait for the chosen family as well.  Then I need support from the community, businesses and friends to complete their other items such as food and gifts. I will have more details on a specific family soon

I have been talking with some agencies, but if you know of a family in need please let me know.

I'M SO EXCITED to be doing this, and with your help I think we can make a difference for a few people this Holiday Season:)  All it takes is giving up coffee one day or brining your lunch to work instead of buying it out.
